A browser game will not load: find the cause before changing settings
Diagnose a blank game frame, failed loading, blocked storage, and lost progress without deleting your saves unnecessarily.
Separate a game problem from a site problem
Open a second game from the same category. If the second game works, the first game or its hosting provider may be unavailable. If neither loads, reload the page once and check whether the rest of the site still responds. Repeatedly pressing Play will not repair a failed connection.
GameZO displays games supplied by different developers. The game frame can use a different server from the surrounding page. A working game page therefore does not prove that its game server is responding. Record the game name, your browser, and what appears after you press Play before reporting the problem.
Check the browser without losing your progress
Try a current browser in a separate window. If you use extensions that block scripts or embedded content, check their blocked-request information. Only change a setting for a provider you trust; do not disable browser security warnings or download a supposed game repair tool.
Private browsing can help identify an extension or storage issue, but it has separate storage and may block third-party content. A fresh game in a private window does not mean your saved progress was deleted. Close the test window and return to the original browser profile to check your existing save.
Handle a frozen or slow game
Close unused tabs and stop other video playback before retrying. On a phone, exit an in-app browser and open the page in the main browser. A game designed for a keyboard may load correctly but remain difficult to control on a touch screen.
Avoid clearing all site data as a first step. Some games store progress locally and may have no recovery method. If the problem persists, send the exact game page URL and the steps that reproduce it through the contact page. Do not include passwords or account tokens.
